Come and try a morning of improv quilting! We will practice using shapes and colour to create modern and fun blocks ready for your quilting projects.
During the two hours we would expect you to have created at least four 5" blocks, giving you the foundation and confidence to continue to develop your skills in improv quilting.
We'll also discuss placement and colour impact while sewing our modern blocks.
The class runs from 10.30am - 1pm
You should be able to use a sewing machine independently, have some sewing experience, and have completed a few patchwork or sewing projects beforehand.
You will need:
Materials are not included, but we do offer a fabric kit for an additional £13. Please let us know in advance if you would like one, or order one through the dropdown in this listing.
At least 5 different fat eighths (25cm x 50cm pieces) for the bloom, the more the better. This is a great opportunity to bring a scrap bag of your favourite scraps!
At least one fat quarter for the background in a contrast colour.
