Come and try a morning of scrappy quilting with the queen of scraps herself, Mel Lewis from Sugar Bowl Crafts. Local artist Mel will help you think about colour theory to create a modern and fun block ready to turn into a statement cushion.
During the session you will create a patchwork block using both applique and piecing skills, and then (if time allows) turn it into a envelope cushion. This cushion would be a beautiful christmas present for that special someone.
The class runs from 10.00am - 2pm
You should be able to use a sewing machine independently, have some sewing experience.

Materials for this project are all included, but please bring any of your own scraps you might want to use in your project.
