Libby Summers Chunky Wool is a gorgeous singles yarn made of 100% pure Highland Wool from Peru. It has a loosely woven texture, and is much softer than most 100% wool.
It looks stunning in a plain stocking stitch, which shows off the softness and the smoothness of the yarn. It comes in a soft palate of neutrals, with the contrasting black and grey also offer up a huge range of possibilities for colour and pattern working.
It felts very well, and is not recommended, for this reason for washing in a machine. Chunky Wool has a recommended needle size of 8mm, and has 50m per 50g ball.
