£11.50

This is a digital pattern for you to print at home.  Alternatively use our pattern printing service! This pattern contains 3 x A0 pages for printing on a large format printer, or 62 pages on an A4 printer.

The Details

The Asteria Dress is a short sleeved, semi-fitted dress from the bust down, shaped with ties at the natural waist.

Featuring a square neckline with an optional collar, the bodice is shaped with bust darts and you can choose whether you’d like a full button-down bodice (View 1) or have it cut on the fold (View 2).

Generous pockets are neatly integrated into the side seams of the box-pleated skirt and Asteria includes pattern pieces for A to D cup sizes.

Full of whimsy, comfort and all the things you want in a stylish day-to-day dress, Asteria will keep you coming back season after season.

Multiple Bust Cups

Asteria includes pattern pieces in A to D cups so that you’ll no longer need to make additional bust adjustments for the perfect fit.

Included in the instructions are a full set of Finished Garment Measurements, as well as detailed instructions on choosing the right size for your unique shape.

Skill Level

Asteria is aimed at intermediate to advanced seamstresses.  Having several garments under your belt will make construction easier. Techniques include a box pleated skirt, set-in sleeves, buttonholes (V1) and an optional collar.

Fabric Options

Asteria can be made with a number of different fabrics from summer-ready linens, rayons and lawns to heavier fabrics (for the perfect winter dress layered over long sleeves) such as pinwale cord, denim and barkcloth.

Asteria has you covered come summer rain or winter snow.

The Layers Function

Both Print-at-Home and Print Shop Asteria pattern files now include the Layers Function!

You can choose to turn on and off any number and combination of pattern sizes to suit your personal needs and preferences. Check out your Asteria instructions for a full step-by-step tutorial on using this handy little function.
