This pattern is suitable for an “experienced” knitter and is a single folded pattern leaflet. The hat is knitted in a multicolour chevron design and the mittens feature fancy cables.
You will need 5 x 50g balls of Patons Merino Extrafine Big (or equivalent) for the hat (1 each of 5 different colours) and 4 x 50g balls of one colour for the mittens.
You will also need a set of 5 x 7mm double pointed needles and a cable needle.
Tension is 12 Stitches and 18 rows to 10cm square using 7mm needles in stocking stitch.
