Do you love the rich textures and colours of natural fibres? So do I! Several years ago, I fell in love with felt and wool fabric – their warmth, depth, and charm are like nothing else. But wool can be pricey and hard to find, especially for appliqué and quilting… so I started sourcing wool from old blankets, end of range and discarded clothing, giving new life to forgotten textiles.
Now I blend felt, reclaimed wool, and other beautiful fabrics into completely one-of-a-kind base fabric – and I’d love to show you how!
Join me for a relaxed and inspiring workshop where you’ll learn about different techniques such as: Appliqué using Tweed, felt pennies, blending fabric and woven wool i.e. broderie perse. Try out embroidery stitches to bring your piece to life. Share ideas with others and create your own unique mini project
