If you have completed Lesley's beginners Block of the Month, or if you are a more seasoned patchworker looking to take your skills to the next level then come and join us for this more advanced patchwork course.
Create sixteen new blocks, using a variety of patchwork, applique, and quilting techniques, and then put them together in the Quilt-as-you Go method.
Techniques covered will include:
12 different patchwork blocks.
Hand, machine, needle-turned and twin needle appliqué.
Hand, cross hatch, machine embroidery and continuous machine quilting.
This course runs monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of each month - from 10am - 1pm.
You will attend 12 sessions in total and you will need to do some homework (particularly on the hand stitched elements) to complete your quilt.
Materials are not included, but due to the design of the quilt materials can be purchased along the way - no need to buy a huge amount all in one - even the backing can be made from multiple designs of fabric!
If you choose the pay as you go method, the deposit to hold your place is £50, with £25 per session due on the day for the first 10 sessions. The deposit then covers your last two sessions.
