Come and join us for this bag making intensive weekend. We'll spend the weekend stitching up either of the bag patterns from Two Stitches Patterns, the Earnley Duffel or the Somerley Tote.
About the Earnley Duffel: A standard duffel bag, roomy and fun, this bag has opportunity for playing with colour and texture! It's got a large front pocket, side slip pockets, and lots of room inside. Straps include hand held and over the shoulder versions.
About the Somerley Tote: A slightly more advanced option, this bag has a large wide opening pocket, and a more firm body as it uses fusible foam. It can carry a small sewing machine, and version B includes instructions on how to make it suitable to do so.
Both bags are full of techniques, from zippers to handle making, different interfacings, different pocket techniques and more!
You will need to provide fabrics etc, and a list will be sent out prior to the course. The pattern is provided.
Saturday runs from 10.30am until 4pm, Sunday from 10.30 - 3pm.
Payment for the full weekend is £175, your place can be reserved for a £50 deposit. Balance payment is due 10 days prior to the weekend.
