The Designer Yarns knitting pattern DYP211 makes an adult sized mittens (approximately 20cm in length, 18cm circumference) and a cowl measuring 27cm x 69cm.
This pattern is suitable for an improving knitter and is a single pattern leaflet. It is knitted with a Cable pattern and reverse stocking stitch.
You will need 1 x 100g balls of Designer Yarns “La Paz” yarn (or equivalent) to make the mittens and 2 x 100g balls to make the cowl.
You will also need 4.5mm single pointed knitting needles, 4.5mm short double painted needles, a cable needle and stitch holders.
Tension is 22 Stitches and 27 rows to 10cm square using 4.5mm needles in the specified cable pattern.
