Meet our newest kit, the Sidlesham belt bag. I first made this version as a test run for the patchwork version of this pattern (designed for Two Stitches Patterns), just randomly pulling colours and fabrics from the scrap bin to see if the sizing worked. With no plan in mind, I created a happy mix of solid colours and a bold black and white stripe. Once it was finished, I was in love with the accidentally 1980s bright and zingy creation I had made, and I think you might like it too. It's a bit different and unusual, and that is basically one of the reasons why we sew, right?
In this kit you have everything you need to make this bag, including zips (this is the only change we've made to my original sample: we've changed boring black to some black rainbow ones instead - an upgrade, I'm sure you'll agree when you see), webbing, interfacings, hardware, both interior and exterior fabrics, thread, and the pattern. The pattern includes the instructions and templates for the patchwork version and also a plain fabric version.
