Come and join us for this bag making intensive weekend. We'll spend the weekend stitching this clever patchwork cube tote bag. A bit different from our other bag weekends, but we think this is a fun project with lots of techniques - and a great one for any patchwork lover.
This spacious tote could be used as a project bag, beach carry-all or however you like - but just know that it is roomy! With clever construction this bag will have you wanting to make more and more.
The workshop days run from 10.30am until 4pm. Teas and coffees are included, but please bring a packed lunch.
Class Requirements:
14 strips 2 ½” x 42” /110cm or equivalent (there needs to be at least 8 different patterns to ensure that no 2 squares are placed together.). Be aware the outer bag is made of 192 2½” squares, if you have a “Stripology Ruler” or equivalent please bring it.
Handles:
30cm x 70cm / 10” x 26” fabric or 4 2 ½” x 26” – if a variety of fabrics of wanted
Lining & Pocket:
90cm x 110cm/ 35”x42”
Gridded fusible interfacing: 90cm x70cm/ 36”x 26”
Foam interfacing: 90cm x70cm/ 36”x 26”
