Do you have a sewing machine that's sitting gathering dust, too scared to use it? Did you invest in a new machine during lockdown but now lack confidence using it? Or do you want a basic run through on a machine before committing to buying your own? If so, this class is for you.
Get out your machine, dust it off, and bring it to this class - we'll teach you the anatomy of a sewing machine, how to thread it, change the needles, change the presser feet, and get started sewing. We'll go through some common stumbling blocks and how to troubleshoot them.
At the end of the class if we have time, we'll work our way through a simple project.
This class lasts 1 hr.
You will need to bring your sewing machine, manual and any accessories that came with it, or let us know if you’d like to use one of our machines.

This class is taught by Anna. Anna got her first sewing machine for her 17th birthday, a vintage Singer Starlet covered in yellow flowers, and she’s never looked back. The owner of The Eternal Maker, Anna is knowledgeable on most things sewing, and teaches many of the classes at the shop.
